At Brookewood, Great Moral Stories helps girls “catch” virtues—prudence, justice, temperance, and fortitude—through exceptional literature and guided practice.
Led by Mrs. Ann Vitz and based on Mary Beth Klee’s Core Virtues, students set age-appropriate goals, reflect weekly, and study real-life examples. The class complements English and Religion so students don’t just memorize virtue—they fall in love with the good.
Freedom
From nature study outside, to field trips to DC, to study abroad in Italy, to victory on the game field, a Brookewood Bengal understands the motto Nolite Timere and she wears it proudly.
