About Brookewood School
On September 8, 2006, Brookewood School opened its doors to 56 girls from throughout the metropolitan area. Today, Brookewood educates nearly 250 students! In the years since we’ve opened, we’ve seen women graduate who are successful, well-rounded, and most of all, courageous.
At Brookewood School, we believe that our school should help parents form their daughters into women who are educated, cultured, pious, cheerful, adventurous, and generous.
We also believe in four specific characteristics that build the foundation for a delightful education: freedom, friendship, fun, and faith. Our experienced faculty understand the educational and developmental needs of girls.

Depicted under the Brookewood crest is the Latin motto Nolite Timere which means “Be not afraid!”; it is heard and spoken often to both students and faculty to remind them of God’s holy command. The phrase, seen over a hundred times in the Old and New Testaments, is also a frequent injunction of Blessed John Paul II to youth. Two particular moments in the New Testament highlight the great wonders God creates when his people are not afraid but are obedient to His word: the Holy Virgin’s birth of Christ and Peter’s walking on the water. Brookewood strives to fearlessly follow God’s word so that we, too, may do great works.
