ATHLETICS
“Good habits formed at youth make all the difference”
Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics

64%
of all Brookewood students participate in a sport.
Brookewood has a growing athletics program. We currently have field hockey, soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, swim, softball, equestrian, and lacrosse teams.
Why Sports? Athletics play a vital role in helping young women develop into active, well-rounded individuals, with the experience of being part of a team at the heart of that growth. Team sports teach valuable life skills such as discipline, humility, and listening to guidance from coaches, while fostering an adventurous spirit. Team members learn to rely on each other’s strengths to work toward a common goal.
We encourage students to attend all practices and games, emphasizing the importance of time management and cultivating fitness as a lifelong habit.
