Julia is our fourth grade teacher at Brookewood. She graduated from Davidson College with a BA in Political Science on an ROTC scholarship, and went on to serve in the United States Army as an aviation officer for seven years. From there she used her administrative strengths in the pastoral center for the Archdiocese of Washington where she worked for 12 years. She previously taught religious education in her parish and Making Music Praying Twice classes in her home. Julia and her husband Michael have two daughters attending Brookewood and one son at Avalon. Among other interests, she enjoys camping, hiking and travel adventures with her family, spending time with friends, and being part of the Well Read Mom book discussion group.
