Montse Alvarado Visits Brookewood
On Tuesday, Brookewood Upper School welcomed Maria Montserrat “Montse” Alvarado, the newly appointed Prefect of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication.
Montse spoke to the girls about faith, family, friendship, and learning to stay close to Christ when life gets hard. Sharing stories from her own family and reflecting on the Samaritan woman and Mary Magdalene, she reminded the girls that there is nothing we can accomplish that will make God love us more.
She encouraged them to live in grace, love their mothers, pursue truth and goodness, and have a passion for life.
